DNS records to add
Add these to your DNS / registrar. Most providers (TransIP, Cloudflare, Mijn.host, etc.) have a "Add record" panel where you paste host, type, and value.
Where do I add these?
- TransIP: Domain → DNS-instellingen
- Cloudflare: Domain → DNS → Records
- Mijn.host / Hostnet: Beheerpaneel → Domeinen → DNS
- For other registrars: search "DNS records" or "DNS zone editor"
A few notes
- DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate worldwide. In practice, most are live within minutes.
- If you already have an SPF record (TXT with v=spf1), edit it to include Odoo — don't add a second one.
- The DKIM CNAME assumes Odoo Online / Odoo.sh — for self-hosted, contact us for the right values.
- DMARC is set to "p=none" to monitor first. Tighten to quarantine/reject once you're sure all your mail flows correctly.
